This very high-pitched fork is tuned to the 9^th Octave of the note C, based on a fundamental pitch of 8Hz (close to the Schuman Resonance of 7,8Hz) and multiplied x 2 each time to achieve the Octave: 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, *256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096… This particular tuning is lower: A = 426.7Hz, than that of the piano or other modern instruments, where A is 440Hz and middle C therefore is 261,63 and not 256 as in the above sequence.
